Infertilty can be caused by a chronical infection of the body. Such a chronical infection usually does not hurt and so very often remains undiscovered for a long time.

Undetected chronical infections can be located at the jaws or the periodontal tissue in your mouth. For this reason, in case of unexplained infertility, a dental check-up, including a panoramic x-ray of the jaws is recommended.
